"I adopted Vera from the local shelter when she was 9 months old. She had been turned in by her previous owners for biting. All the other cats were sitting quietly in their cages but Vera would not stop meowing at me so I knew I had to take her home. She has been a great "mommy cat" to a stray kitten we took in. Vera is my pride and joy."
